How do I join CrossBrew?

Type /crossbrew join in any Slack channel in your workspace. A modal will appear asking for your email address, which is used to facilitate introductions with matches from other workspaces.

How are matches made?

CrossBrew pairs you with people from other Slack workspaces on a regular schedule (typically weekly). The algorithm avoids repeating past matches. You will receive a direct message with your match's name and email address so you can coordinate a coffee chat.

Can I be matched with someone from my own workspace?

By default, CrossBrew focuses on cross-workspace matching — connecting you with people outside your organization. Admins can configure pools to include within-workspace matches as well.

How do I delete my data?

Type /crossbrew delete-my-data in Slack. This will immediately remove your account and all associated personal data from CrossBrew's systems.

What should I do if I'm not receiving match notifications?

First, confirm you have joined using /crossbrew status. If you are enrolled but not receiving messages, check that CrossBrew has permission to send you direct messages in your Slack workspace. If the problem persists, contact us at support@crossbrew.app.
